Rising Country Artist Hannah Ellis Pours Out Summer Fun With “Wine Country”, Announces Tour Dates

Rising Country Artist Hannah Ellis is pouring out fun with her new Curb Records single “Wine Country”, available now — listen HERE

Joyfully bringing Boujee to the backroads, Ellis is making an impact with the  song as it was most added at Radio and is quickly becoming the Country song of the summer.  Fans have been showing their appreciation at her live shows, as evidenced by a flash mob in the audience at her recent CMA Festival performance dancing along as she sang on the Chevy Vibes Stage. The up-and-coming singer/songwriter first debuted the judgment-free anthem this spring at Live In The Vineyard Goes Country. Bringing a little Napa to Ellis’ home state of Kentucky, the pop-country twang of “Wine Country” raises a glass to the 2023 “CMT LISTEN UP” artist, proving the old adage true: You can take the girl out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the girl. Admittedly a little Rosé and a lot playful energy, Ellis sips her Cabernet from a Solo Cup, while wearing her black Luccheses on the cleverly penned track she wrote with Clint Lagerberg and her husband, Nick Wayne. Lagerberg produced the recording alongside Jason Massey.

Hannah says the song is “based on the idea that life is not all about this OR that. It’s more about this AND that. I’m boujee AND I’m backroads. You don’t have to choose one lane. Drive ‘em all!”

The video for “Wine Country” was filmed by Tony Gates at various locations in Napa Valley, CA. including the Welcome To Napa Valley Sign, the Napa Valley Wine Train and the rustic Chappellet Winery in Helena, California – to emphasize country in the phrase wine country.  “We really had fun with the concept for this video,” Ellis said. “We leaned into the ‘Real Housewives’ type of energy while keeping it country. I really loved the videos from the 90’s that had a different story and a light-hearted theme. It brings out the personality in this song.”

In the video, Hannah sings about Ford trucks as she frolics in winery fields – wearing the owner’s socks. “One of my favorite memories from the video shoot was when we were shooting the brunch scene up on Pritchard Hill at Chappellet Winery,” she said. “I was wearing these tall sharp stiletto heels, and I couldn’t walk down the gravel path to the table. Then I tried barefooted, and the rocks were too sharp. So Blakesley Chappellet, one of the vineyard owners, gave me the socks off her feet so I could walk across the gravel. Ellis is announcing new tour dates, beginning in mid-July to support “Wine Country”.  Plans are for her to tour for the rest of this year into 2024.

Singer-songwriter Tom Moran has dropped the accompanying music video for single “Oh Darling” off his recently released debut album, Roommate of a Friend of Mine. The full length album, released worldwide on September 24, is an introspective testimony to finding yourself amidst the chaos.

LGBTQ+ indie pop artist awfultune (Layla Eden) started off posting covers to SoundCloud in 2017 and now upon the release of her fifth studio album eden, out today, April 29, via AWAL, she has over 400 million streams globally and her 2019 breakout single “I Met Sarah in the Bathroom” recently went gold in Canada and is just shy of certification in the U.S.

While rife with reverie and emotional complexity, an awfultune original prides itself on its minimalism. For Eden, the narrative is usually up front and center. Dance Pop Artist Harrison Barnes brings you Paradise, New EP Out 5-13-22

Las Vegas-based dance pop artist Harrison Barnes announces the upcoming release of his new sophomore EP, entitled Paradise, on all music streaming platforms on May 13, 2022.

Barnes wrote the five songs on Paradise during the pandemic and worked with Las Vegas producer Mikey Dropz to record the EP. All five tracks have a strong dance beat with emotional lyrics, demonstrating the artist’s lifelong love for dance pop music. Barnes grew up taking dance lessons since childhood and also watched hours of Britney Spears music videos, teaching himself the choreography. Today, Barnes is a professional dancer as well as a singer/songwriter, and both his songwriting and music videos reflect the influence of his childhood idol.

The songs on Barnes’s new EP also mirror his personal experiences with love, sex and heartbreak. Whether the song is about feeling like you’re in heaven with someone (“Paradise”), wanting to heat things up (“TLC”), getting over heartbreak (“Alone on the Dance Floor”), getting tired of the superficiality of social media (“Fashion”) or finding that perfect someone (“Collide”), Barnes adds an infectious dance beat.

Barnes says, “With this project I wanted to make a fun dance record. There is so much going on in the world that I wanted to create an album that could be a fun escape for everyone (hence the title). There’s a song for every mood: if you’re feeling sexy, if you’re sad, if you’re in love.”

Harrison’s new EP follows the successful release of his debut EP, If I’m Honest, which came out in 2020. He garnered nearly 60,000 Spotify streams along with high praises from fans and critics alike. Ryan Tennis Drops Captivating New Single, “Oh, Alexandra”

Singer-songwriter Ryan Tennis has just released his new single, “Oh, Alexandra.” “It’s a tale as old as time, and now it’s my time to tell it,” muses the world-touring musician. The tale is one of unrequited love with a twist, and the lively single, now available to stream on digital platforms worldwide, is an upbeat, heartfelt acoustic track that draws the listener in with its organic groove and conversational storytelling.

Ryan Tennis speaks of an undeniable connection with a close friend who “can’t wait to come over and show him her brand new butterfly tattoo.” He wishes she was more than just a friend, she’s happy with the friendship as it is, and so goes the age-old story…or does it? As Tennis’ warm, inviting voice rolls forward on a beachy acoustic groove infused with Latin rhythms, listeners begin to feel that perhaps there’s more to this one-sided love than just heartbreak. While the song expresses longing – “Why keep me lonely? Why keep me waiting?” – and a little disappointment – “as my mama used to say when I was just a little boy, she’d sing ‘you can’t always get what you want” – the prevailing feeling is one of hope.

“Oh, Alexandra” captures the live energy of Tennis’ trio, drummer Joseph Keim, and bassist Elliot Garland. It was produced by Ryan Tennis and Pete Donnelly (The Figgs, NRBQ) – who also mixed the song – at Katonah Sound Studios and was mastered by Justin Perkins at Mystery Room Mastering.

When it comes to songwriting and performing, Ryan Tennis admits that he was a late bloomer. He spent a majority of his teenage and college years dedicated to sports, playing as a 1AA All-American defensive lineman at Davidson College in North Carolina. After finishing both his athletic and academic career, Tennis was struck with the realization that music was his true calling in life and began to focus solely on making music and performing. He relocated to Philadelphia and kicked off his music career playing local venues and house shows, spreading his name and talent around the city. The Lovers Explore Self-Discovery With New EP ‘Lite Brite’

A few years after meeting at a writer’s night in Franklin, TN, Amanda June and Cole Vosbury decided to join forces as “The Lovers” and are now releasing their second EP together, called Lite Brite. An organic writing and recording process in the pair’s home studio led to the creation of a rebirth, “a shedding of old to bring in something new.”

The EP kicks off with “New Moon,” a song that explores more than the start of a new lunar cycle; a song that speaks to new beginnings, rebirth, potential, to discovering and growing into your true self everyday – something that resonated with June and Vosbury as they were creating this sophomore EP. The duo’s voices mesh together, perhaps more seamlessly than ever, over synthpop production that stays true to the duo’s acoustic/folk roots. Lite Brite takes the listener through an honest and fulfilling journey of self-discovery and ends with “Moonstoned,” a joyful celebration of the true self that has been brought into the light over the course of the “inward journey” that was the creation and experience of this EP.

Meet The Lovers – featuring Amanda June and Cole Vosbury. Two singer-songwriters who met by divine will at a writer’s night in Franklin, TN on the night of February 26, 2014. After Vosbury’s national success as a Top 5 finalist on season 5 of NBC’s The Voice, he was on and off the road touring state by state and brought Amanda June alongside to perform songs they had recently written together. They naturally became inseparable, sharing every stage together from there on out. They have gained an organic following from playing sought after listening rooms, theaters, and music festivals for the past 7 years. In 2020, exactly 6 years to the day they met, Cole & Amanda June released their long-awaited 7 song Debut EP. It was recorded and produced by The Lovers in their living room studio. It is a labor of love influenced by Americana, Country, and soul music. From the very first tune of the EP “Livin’ Life and Killin’ Time,” co-written with hit songwriter and dear friend Dave Pahanish, you know you are in for a treat. “The Lovers” album from beginning to end is a breath of fresh air as the nostalgic sounds and captivating melodies of The Lovers bring you into their world of imagination. They are both artists in their own right and live to create whether that be visual art or music. Cole also releases his own solo work that he is very passionate about and has two full lengths albums out with a large catalog of music waiting to be heard. The most important thing to them now day in and day out is to be home more to make sure they have as much time as possible to make music or sit around and listen to their favorite records. Writing for film is also a passion of theirs and they are starting to transition from a full time touring act to songwriters who can work from home.

Their second EP ‘Lite Brite’ is completely written, performed and recorded by the two of them over the course of a year. Inspired by the kind of music and sounds they were hearing at the time, their new EP leans more towards folk and synth-pop. Their EP is sure to take you to another state of mind. The Lovers music is evergreen and they can’t wait to share the new record with everyone.
